What are Screens of the Day?
What does
ScreenViewDaily do?
ScreenViewDaily is a spreadsheet
tool that archives screens downloaded from
www.investors.com. ScreenViewDaily provides the user the ability to organize, search,
sort and
filter many screens at once,
greatly extending the usefulness of IBD's Screen of the Day feature. |

1. See all screens containing a particular stock
highlighted on the index page. A stock that appears in
one or two screens is probably not as good as one that
appears in ten screens.

2. Just click on any symbol in a worksheet and you will be
automatically connected to the quote page on
www.investors.com
and be a click away from the stock checkup feature - a real
convenience.

3. When you click on a stock symbol the row in the spreadsheet is
automatically highlighted and if you go back to the index sheet you
will see all sheets that contain that stock. Any sheet you open
will have the chosen stock highlighted to save you the trouble
of looking for it.

4. While you're on the stock checkup page look for the display
of the top five stocks in the same group. If there is a higher
ranked stock, simply go to the index sheet and type in the
symbol to see all the screens the new stock is in!

5. Filter your screens to get the very best of the best in that
screen. You can choose whatever filters you want on any column
in the worksheet. Limit the stocks displayed to those with an
EPS rating over 95 and an RS rating over 90, for example.

6. Sort your screens by any column on the screen to get the best
listed first, for example, sort on the EPS or RS columns and
the highest EPS rating or the highest RS ratings will be listed
first. Once again getting the best of the best is extremely simple.

| Features: |
|
| 1. Creates an index worksheet that contains links to all the
"Screen of the Day" worksheets you have downloaded from www.investors.com; |
|
| 2. The index lists the sheets by the date and title contained within
the sheet for easier identification of the screen used; |
|
| 3. If you click on a title in the index sheet, it will load
a copy of the worksheet into the index workbook and
display it. |
|
| 4. When the original Screen of the Day worksheet was indexed,
it was altered by restoring the hyper links to the symbols
so by clicking the symbol you automatically get the quote
screen on www.investors.com for that stock. |
|
5. When you click on a symbol to get the current quote, the
index is searched and all other screens that contain that
stock are highlighted and a message with the stock symbol
appears beside each worksheet that contains it.
|
|
| 6. If you don't need a quote you can just enter a symbol to
see which spreadsheets the stock appears in. |
|
| 7. Another alteration to your downloaded sheet is the addition
of Auto filter buttons for each column. This allows you to
limit the view of your spreadsheet to just those stocks that
meet your requirements such as RS > 80 and EPS > 90. |
|
8. You can also sort your Screen of the Day spreadsheet on any
column in either ascending or descending order. For example,
you might sort on the EPS column in descending order to move
the highest EPS ranked stocks to the top of the spreadsheet.
|
|
| 9. Any changes you make to the spreadsheet by filtering or sorting
are actually made to a copy so the original worksheet is preserved.
You can save the index workbook with your altered sheet or delete
the sheet from the index workbook. In any case when you click the
hyper linked title the worksheet will be displayed as it was when it
was indexed. |
